Chamber Awards

Each year at the Annual Dinner Gala, the Union County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development gives awards to businesses and people in our community. We will honor award winners on Saturday, February 8, 2025, during the Gala.

We are accepting nominations for award winners. Do you know someone worthy of nomination?  Feel free to submit your nominations before January 14th by completing the information below.  Nominations will be accepted for Business of The Year, New Business of The Year, Citizen of The Year, and Most Improved Business of The Year.

The Chamber Awards Committee will review all submissions and determine award winners which will be annaounced at the Gala in February.

Business of The Year
The “Business of The Year” award is a prestigious and highly coveted recognition that honors a local business that has excelled in various aspects of its operations and made significant contributions to our community. This award serves as a symbol of excellence, leadership, and success within our business community.  The recipient of this award must be a business member of the Union County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development; a list is provided as a reference below.

New Business Member of The Year
The “New Business Member of the Year Award” is a prestigious accolade that recognizes and celebrates new additions to the Chamber. This recipient may also be a new business to our community. The recipient of this award must be a business member of the Union County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development. Names are provided by clicking the View Current Member List below.

Citizen of The Year
The “Citizen of the Year Award” is a prestigious honor that recognizes an individual within the community who has made exceptional contributions and shown outstanding dedication to the betterment of our local area. This award serves as a symbol of gratitude and admiration for the recipient’s selfless efforts and impact on our community.

Most Improved Business of The Year
The “Most Improved Business Award” is a prestigious accolade presented to a business within the local community that has demonstrated remarkable growth, progress, and transformation in various aspects of its operations and overall performance. This award recognizes and celebrates businesses that have shown exceptional dedication, innovation, and perseverance in their pursuit of improvement and excellence.  The recipient of this award must be a business member of the Union County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development; a list is provided as a reference below.
