Steve shared, “The performance is dedicated to Virginia & Pete Houseman, as is the book we’ll read from. RANDOM REFLECTION is the second book of poems arising from the pandemic. None better to symbolize the communal spirit of the word than these two angels ever in action. It all began with my idea to write a poem or two to share the communal feeling of enclosure from COVID-19. I did decide to try a poem-a-day, as my brain began pouring out lyrical ideas to pop on Facebook. The notion picked up momentum to accumulate this second book celebrating another year of spreading the word. The musings are still flowing daily, the range of topics expanded by our movement out of doors, but the sense of communal statement remains. Sit back and enjoy.”
